Trajnice Carniola is a Ljubljana nursery with a wide range of perennials, ornamental grasses, herbs, ferns, roses and woody plants. It also designs plantings and gardens, and alongside the store shares news, advice and events online.

THE BRIEF

A store that lagged behind the range

The previous Trajnice Carniola store on WordPress loaded slowly and had limited features, so buying was harder than it should have been. Analytics was not set up correctly, and orders were copied into accounting by hand.

01Move to PrestaShopWe moved the Trajnice Carniola store from WordPress to PrestaShop, which is built for online sales and allows more customisation.
02Plants by growing conditionsCategories by season, type and growing conditions. Customers find a plant for their garden even without knowing its name.
03Faster loadingWe optimised pages and images so browsing a large plant catalogue is quick and smooth.
04Card paymentsAlongside the existing payment methods we introduced card payments, so customers can check out the way that suits them.
05Reliable analyticsWe set up Google Analytics 4 and purchase path tracking correctly, so decisions are based on data.
